To all you ladies (& gents) who are tea lovers and can appreciate dainty pretty pastries, you’ll enjoy this 2nd installment of Birthday Tea. An afternoon filled with sisterly chit chat over yummy delights spent with my youngest sister (for her B-day) and my sis in law at the Taj Boston.
Purely a gal gathering w/o the disturbance of the husbands or babies. Some things are reserved just for us grown up girls (although I can’t wait to take Zoey for some mommy & me tea bonding time!).
Enjoy.

Giving my ears a little break from these clip earrings. These are one of my absolute favorite pairs by Givenchy.

A cup of hot tea warms the soul on a cold winter day.
Added cream and sugar to my spiced Chai.
To go…there were just too much food!
There are many more Afternoon Tea offerings in Boston such as at the Four Seasons & The Boston Waterfront Hotel. I can’t wait to try them all!

Good night!

I’ve spent the last hour reading all your posts. I adore everything about this blog, especially the photography! Are you just a natural, or have you taken classes?
Hey there! I’ve been following your site for a while now and finally got the bravery to go ahead and give you a shout out from Austin Texas! Just wanted to say keep up the good job!
Very inspiring photographs! A great lesson in finding beauty in the little things!
Your photographs are so beautiful! I have booked to go to the Ritz and Claridge’s in London in a few months time, and I’m so excited. Although I have to admit, despite the many tea rooms I visit in not-so-sunny England, the best afternoon tea I have ever taken was at Lady Mendl’s Tea Salon on a trip to New York. The staff couldn’t believe it when I told them it was better than at home!
Gorgeous photos & I love your outfit! Happy belated birthday

The pictures look beautiful! I love the atmosphere of your blog!!
Thank you so much Emily! Have a great day. Best, Kellie
How delightful! Love the photos! And a happy birthday to your sister!
Tea is always always special. A ritual, an idea, a comfort, an occasion….
Thank you for following my blog and therefore helping me discover yours! Looking forward to reading more.
You described tea perfectly! Thanks for stopping by! Best, Kellie
Stunning. lovely images xxxx
I go to tea every year around Christmas, and it is my favorite thing to do! Great pictures, and love your outfit!
Nice Christmas ritual you have there!
What lens and ISO and f stop did you use. I love all your photographs
Hi- Truthfully, I should learn more about the concept of iso’s and f-stops but no matter how many times my husband explain it to me, I keep forgetting. Most of the images here are actually blurry and not ideal to my liking due to the dim lighting so I’m guessing my settings were incorrect. As far as lens, I have to ask the hubs. Can you tell I’m a little clueless? I just mess w/ the dials until I get the visual output that I like. Sorry, I’m not that helpful. (Not a professional photographer just like to take pictures) Have a great day! Best, Kellie
Yeah I have to say I do the same thing. I mess around with everything when I’m shooting. Sometimes I discover cool stuff. I love your blog. I think you do a really nice job. Your an inspiration. Xo
I LOVE your blog. It is gorgeous!
Thank Laresa!
Absolutely gorgeous photos. Tea is a lost art.
Thanks and I do agree that Tea is an art! Have a great day! Best, Kellie
The pictures are so beautiful as usual! I love tea-rooms – we have quite a selection here in England and although I’m not that great a tea-lover, I love going there for a dainty tea and side sandwiches every once in a while.
You’re from England? Wow! So lucky!!
I’m from Malta but live here yes
Till a couple of weeks time at least!
I love the pictures! So elegant and mystical.
Thanks Aja!
This looks so elegant, I must find a place like this in San Diego
Hi- Look into hotels, they usually offer them (at least in Boston). Thanks for stopping by! Best, Kellie
Hi!
What lens do you use mostly?
I love the vintage feel that you have to your pictures!
